Our ApproachFor the majority of our projects, we use an iterative development schedule. We start with an understanding of what it is that you need. We then deliver a subset of the features for you to provide feedback. The very first version of the software might allow you only to login and explore menus. But it works. As we deliver subsequent versions, the list of features grows. Between each release of the software you have the opportunity ask for new features that you may need or to request changes to existing features. Each delivery has working features. You are never told that a feature is “almost done”. You never have to wait ten or twelve months before you see a working version of your application. This approach allows us to work quickly and allows you more time to think about what it is you want in the final product. It’s extremely difficult to specify a complex new application from scratch, a year in advance, and still deliver the application on time and have it do everything you need. Our experience has been that an iterative approach to larger projects is much more successful. |
